Over the past several years, my work has revealed a hidden form of communication—an intuitive language embedded in the marks, shapes, and gestures I make. This language is not literal, but subconscious. It has taken time to recognize, let alone begin to understand. I believe it can be felt, even read, by those who are tuned to a similar frequency. It is rhythmic. It is a puzzle. Painting, for me, is a spiritual act—an intimate, primal form of communication. Within every line, shape, color, and form lies a story surfacing in each piece. These stories do not translate into clear or fixed ideas—don’t look for that—but they do carry something that resembles a message: perhaps a well-wishing, a cry for help, a scream of rage, or a quiet prayer.

I see abstract painting as more than expressive mark-making in a moment of emotion. The language of painting is layered and rich. Every decision—color, line, shape, texture, use of space, tool, or material—is deliberate and loaded with intent. These elements are not merely aesthetic; they are carriers of feeling, thought, and presence—conveying more than what meets the eye.

This exhibition presents a continued exploration of my current human experience. It is my mountaintop to scream from, my cave to retreat to, and my obsession to indulge in. It is my personal language—how I speak to and navigate a world that is decaying, self-destructive, and terrifying, yet still powerful, mysterious, and achingly beautiful.
