The world has lost a true treasure. It's with a sad and heavy heart to share the passing of gallery artist and friend Brianna Spencer. She was pure joy with an infectious smile that left you feeling warmer inside every time you met. The world is less colorful, less wonderful without her.⁠

As an artist, Brianna's intimate scenes of everyday life drew people in. She let us into her world without hesitation and allowed us to share in her love for the people she held most dear; her partner George and her baby daughter Ene. Even if you had never met Brianna, you felt like you knew her just by experiencing her artwork.⁠

Moon Eyes highlights a selection of artwork of the people she held most dear; her partner George, her baby daughter Ene, and their beloved cat Scout. 

The opening reception for Moon Eyes will take place at Chefas Projects on Friday, June 19th, 2024, from 5-8 pm. Located in Portland, Oregon, at 134 SE Taylor Street on the first floor of the Taylor Works building, Chefas Projects invites the public to explore this unique exhibition, which will be on view through August 17, 2024.
